Houston Farmer’s Market

Houston, Texas

Faisal supervised Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Material testing services for the newly revitalized Houston Farmer’s Market on Airline Drive. Houston Farmer’s Market, the largest in the state of Texas dating back to 1942, is being likened to Seattle’s Pike Place Market and New York’s Chelsea Market.

Geotechnical engineering scope focused on the eight new open-air pavilions and surrounding parking and drive areas on the 18-acre site. Project challenges included a phased construction schedule with work performed in and around active portions of the 80-year-old market.

The Houston Farmers Market connects the community with locally-grown produce and goods in Houston, Texas.
