Samoo Engineering, LLC (SAMOO) is a Houston based A2LA Accredited geotechnical engineering firm. We focus on providing cost-effective and innovative solutions for a variety of geotechnical projects.

Our staff have 40 years of experience in a wide variety of projects consisting of public infrastructure, transportation, aviation, heavy industries, petrochemical facilities, residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Faisal Samoo, P.E., President / Owner

Faisal is a geotechnical engineer with 20 years’ experience in consulting with the last 13 years of his career focused on projects across Texas. Faisal has acquired well-rounded experience working on hundreds of geotechnical and construction material engineering projects including:

  • Residential and commercial/industrial developments
  • Large transportation projects
  • Bridges
  • Airports
  • Major pipelines
  • Wastewater treatment plants
  • Other municipal infrastructure facilities


Currently, Faisal focuses on providing cost-effective, practical geotechnical consulting to private and public agency clients. Services run the gamut from pre-purchase evaluations, geotechnical investigations, foundation and retaining wall designs, slope stability analysis, slope stabilization studies, repair of distressed structures, and construction inspection and testing. Faisal has particular expertise in pavement engineering and earth retaining structures.
